Els adjectius comparatius en anglès són adjectius que s’utilitzen per fer una comparació entre dos substantius. Existeixen tres graus d’adjectius comparatius. Podem comparar alguna cosa que és superior, inferior o igual a una altra cosa o a algú.
Els comparatius en anglès es formen utilitzant la següent estructura:
Subjete + verb + adjectiu comparatiu (+ than + objecte)
En funció del número de síl·labes construirem d’una manera o d’una altra el comparatiu.
